Stephan Jansen is a European manager and Headhunter with almost 30 years business experience. He grew up and graduated school in a French environment, did a technical apprenticeship in UK, studied mechanical engineering in Vienna Technical University, started his career in Switzerland and travelled large parts of Europe, Northern Africa and USA in his various positions.
Although having a thorough technical background, Stephan started his career in sales and marketing for technical products such as refrigeration plants, cranes and aluminium profiles. He soon reached general management positions and went into the automotive components industry. There, he mastered the challenges of restructuring companies, introducing process management, finding new markets and clients, developing new products and herewith increasing market shares, revenues and profits in a highly competitive environment.
He then went into the consulting business and became associate partner for a Swiss company specialized in business process redesign and IT. Here, he built up their Austrian presence and developed their international network. Being a certified management consultant, a certified PMP project management professional, vice president of Austria’s manager association and an investor himself, Stephan knows of the importance of personnel and culture for a company’s sustainable success.
